I will be upgrading this winter, so I am making notes from the 2010 FLHX riders. I posted the message below on another thread.

I have the D&D Boss Glide on my 2010 FLHX.

FTR - This comparison is to my 2008 FLSTN with Vance & Hines 2-1 Pro Pipe, S/E Stage 1. (Sound was much better on the 2008 V&H)

However, considering I am comparing a complete exhaust ($$$) to a slip-on ($$), the performance is where I have the difference. Other than adding the D&D slip-ons, I did not change anything on my FLHX except the Air Cleaner, S/E Stage 1

Dyno on the 08 FLSTN (Softail Deluxe)
MX Power 71.57 Torque 83.96

Dyno on the 10 FLHX (Street Glide)
MX Power 72.56 Torque 87.37

Just Dyno tuned today. 06 ultra clssic 203 cams, se/ac, sert, wild pig slip ons. With fulsac dual kit 76.4 hp 81tq. Re-installed factory rear cyl head pipe and got 80hp/90tq!! Go figure! The duals sound much better but i'd rather have the go power. I'm thinkin i should quit tweakin and be happy with these numbers. What do you motor heads think?

SE race heads, se257 cams., high flow ac on se backin plate, gorilla glue for your grips cause your gonna need to hold on! Oh yeah probably gonna need a se race clutch too cause you gonna smoke the stock one!

How much money per HP increase is worth it with a Bagger? Can you get such a heavy bike to compete with other muscle bikes at a reasonable cost? I can see a stage 1, but really when am I wasting money, and I dont want to have to drive a bike like I stole it to take advantage of my horsepower gains.
