DYNO Numbers for Baggers???

Santa needs to help me out LOL, Turbo on the dodge went south, had to replace the pump for the well 489 feet down But working 6-7 days to keep up with the work so that is a good. Have a safe holiday for you and family
 
Far as I'm concerned. The dyno numbers don't mean that much. How the bike performs for your riding style is what matters. If it feels good to you then the numbers don't matter.

True...but if the dyno #s are strong for your engine build and it ALSO rides great, then you know the bike is tuned to deliver the maximum performance it's capable of delivering. Without the dyno you'll never know for sure if it could be tuned to give you an even better riding experience.

I agree. I guess all I meant was this. I tuned my bike with TTS V-tune. It tunes for the ranges that I ride and does not tune for WOT. WOT is where the dyno comes in and V-Tune leaves off. The dyno will tune for all the ranges. My V-Tune only tuned for my riding ranges. For me the dyno tune and numbers won't make much difference. But it's nice to know you are getting everything you can out of the motor. And that is one reason I would still get a dyno tune someday. I just know that at WOT my bike didn't get tuned 100% and my numbers are a bit low compared to others with similar equipment.

Hi, just had mine tuned at at Frieze HD in O'fallon,Illinois. I have a Power Commander I had been using a down loaded map, ran good but not great. Any way, they are a PC tuning center so they did a custom map so here are the numbers.

With original map had 80.29 HP & 90.36 Torque
With custom map 83.52 HP & 96.35 Torque
