Hmm.. ya cruising at over 4k will surely hurt your mileage.
Your friends need to have their tunes checked as well getting 20mpg.
I get low 40's when playing,(rev limiter at 89 in third comes quick) high 40's when cruising (70-80 in 5th). Im making 109 squared. I know of others that are in the 120's-130's getting the same mileage as me. Anyone that told you that a well built motor wont get good mileage has never been on or put together a well built and tuned motor. Just food for thought.

I did mention to a couple of them have they got their bikes dyno and they say for what they don't believe in them,so hey if they like the way their bikes ride and the milaege they get more power to them.i know that when i go 180 miles and put in 4.6 gallons to fill up and i am riding my bike hard and not touching 6th gear and getting almost 40 mpg i am feeling good about my set up of 90HP/100TRQ/203cams.

Guys, I've seen the dyno readings on Mark's bike firsthand. The readings are the real deal with no tricks to make it read higher. The main thing that found the HP numbers is that his bike was on our shops dyno for 1.5days getting all of it tuned right. The bike had no less than 50 pulls on it. Most shops load a base map and then use the computer to smooth it out automaticly and call it a day. You can't do that to make a good tune, it takes alittle time to do it right.

Finding a shop to invest the time is the hard part.

Since you have access to the sheet, can you post it up?
Not doubting his #'s as my small bore kit makes a good deal more hp/tq than his. Just curious about where the power is with those 203's 95" jugs and no headwork? Wish they would have called this thread dyno "sheets" for baggers.
Carry on

The power is made very nicely for how i ride ryan1.In looking at the dyno sheet i stay above 90trq till about 5200 rpm.I'm at 100trq from 3200-4400 so i think for a stage 11 95" and a great dyno tune by Metal Road Cycle in waldorf, maryland i am a happy camper.
