DYNO Numbers for Baggers???

Bails

I'm with ya jfanton...

I suppose it "possible" that those pipes are that much better. Likely???? doubt it...

The runs Pipe & I did were just so "we" have a baseline to compare the mods we're gonna do against pre-mods.

There are so many variables that I think it's really hard to compare numbers form bike to bike:

-What gear were the runs made in (4th or 5th - ours were 4th)
-What Dyno is it (ours was a DynoJet 250)
-What's the state of calibration of the Dyno
-What version of PC software are they running
-Temp / humidity
-etc
-etc

We chose a tuning center for the baseline runs and will go back to the same unit / same tuner for our comparison.

Just my thoughts...

Finally got the dyno tune done! 06 E Glide Standard 3300 miles, PC III, stock air box w/ K&N filter, modified stock road king mufflers, stock ECM. 71 HP & 73 TQ. A/F ratio at or close to 13.8. Runs great, very happy!

My 2005 88" has Kuryakn Hyper Charger and Rienhart true dual exhaust and is going in for Power Commander ON DYNO on April 19...I'll post the numbers...so far maybe a little more pull down low, I can lug more w/o a down shift...almost always ride with passenger so it's pretty noticable...we'll see what the PC does for it. I also pull a trailer when touring and I'm sure the extra pull will be nice on trips

My ride is a 2004 FLHTPI (police EG) which I purchased in 05 after it had been a motor escort ride in the Atlanta, GA area. Bike had 4700 miles when purchased, now has 23,000.

Had Rinehart True Duals, Stage I air cleaner, and Terry Components Terminal Velocity II installed at Earl Small's HD in Marietta, GA two weeks ago.

Had the bike dynoed at Killer Creek HD in Roswell,GA a few days, and about 250 miles after the installation. For comparison purposes, the Killer Creek dyno typically shows 61 hp and 67 ft.lbs torque on a bone stock 88 inch EFI motor; and, 72 hp and 79 torque for a Rinehart TD, Stage I ac, and SERT installation (it's a very common mod on new dressers). I used these numbers since I did not have a base line dyno run for my bike.

My three dyno runs were: Run 1: 72.67 hp/77.64 torque; Run 2: 73.36 hp/77.69 torque; Run 3: 74.04 hp/78.4 torque.

I don't have a scanner; I would be happy to send a copy of the dyno chart to a forum member for them to scan and post.

Last couple of points; the chart shows all of the torque is in by about 3750 rpm and the runs were done with the factory revlimit of 5500 still operative; SERT runs are done with the rev limit raised to 6200. There may be another horse or so available with my set-up, but, for me, it is not important. I don't redline my bike, and the torque is more important for my riding. Also, the afr number is hard to read, but the line is very flat for the second and third dyno runs.

203 SE cams
77 HP, 85 torque

2002 FXST 88inch, Mikuni 42, stage 1 breather, 204 cams, V&H staggered big shots.
Max torque- 92.6
Max power- 84.6HP

2006 FLHTCU 95 inch, stock throttle body, 203 cams, SERT, V&H pro pipes HS.
Max torque- 97.47
Max power- 87.68HP

How much Hp and torque did you get with 510 cams and gear drive? I have a 95 cc with thunder heads .I only got 2 more hp and 5 tourque with the pc3 that wont work on my bike. the cams and gears seem the best way to go.
