dyeing my hair dark red/ burgundy?

for a halloween party i want to shock everyone so i want to get a full blown mohawk and dye it dark red/ burgundy.

i have dark brown hair though, i dont want it to go pink.

im only a simple guy uneducated in the cosmetics isle haha.

what products do i need to use? and can someone tell me the step by steps?
