I have dark brown hair. My hair had been bleached for Highlights and then dyed again at different times several months ago. Because of washing and time my hair is now highlighted with orange/ brassy hair. So I went to the salon for doing my roots and correcting the rest of my hair to give it a more natural looking highlight. So the stylist said she want to start over with my hair. She would dye it without using ammonia in it and then re-highlite my hair by bleaching using a #10 bleach. I don't feel comfortable and I asked her if it's going to work. I don't want orange hair and she said it won't make it orange. Is she right or is she going to ruin my hair?
It just seems a little too much to dye the hair brown and then highlite it all in the same day. I'm not a colorist so I might be wrong. Anyone know?
