DVD's with free Digital Copy

I was in the USA and bought some dvd's home with me so they are all region 1.
but my question is that 15 of them have included a free digital copy i can download to my PC and PSP and i was wondering would i be breaking the law if i got caught using them on my pc/psp as i travel a lot and read that custom's officers under ACTA may soon be able to search devices under new piracy laws.

I would suspect that seeing as you legally bought the DVRAB in the first place it shouldn't be a problem...how can it be piracy if you have paid for the content in the first place? As long as you're not sharing it and charging others I would think you would be fine...
