Why does it take some things longer than others to be released on DVD? I say this in reference to ER, I am a huge ER fan but only recently have the ER DVD's been getting released. It has been running longer since the likes of Buffy & Angel, yet all of those DVD's are out, but ER is only now upto Season 4
 
i think, esp in the case of american shows it has alot to do with which network the show is on.

Some of the networks such as WB seem to get DVRAB out very quickly
