I can't seem to get my DVD-R drive to recognise blank disks so that I can write to them. When the drive is empty, Windows Explorer shows it as D: dvd-rw drive. But when I put a blank DVD-R disk in, it changes to D:CD drive and shows no space available. This is my first try at copying files to DVD-R, rather than CD-R, so I hope I have missed something basic.....
