dvd and vcr combo and dvd can record?

Can some one tell me what its called when u can record off the VCR onto DVD. I hear I can get one.. but where? I have family films on vcr tapes and to save them I would like to put clipping onto the DVD disc.
 
I don't know where you live but any electrical store or on-line etailer such as Amazon should have these in stock.

I have seen them in Maplin (UK) but if you are in the US or Canada, then the local electrical hardware store for televisions and stuff should have it.
