...start salary when done? I was just hired into a company a couple of days ago. When I was applying for the job online, the compensation for the job read "Competitive Base Salary Plus Benefit Plan". The job is for a Web Designer, but they said they are going to start me at 10/hr doing "monotonous work" for the 90 day probation period. They told me after the 90 days I will have a pay increase and I will move to actually designing websites. Their health plan is awesome with full 100% coverage but that just means that it's going to be a little more expensive. Is it common to start an employee at a 10/hr and then price the individual for salary after the probationary period, or do you think I'm going to be working a hourly wage at this company?
