Dummy lights all flash on then off OMG.?

1998 Buick Century

So I'm driving half a mile down the road, make a quick stop, then I'm driving back and (I'm not positive but I think this happened at the same time my automatic headlights went on, it was dusk) all my dummy lights on my dashboard light up like flippen Christmas for about 2-3 seconds then turn off.

What the heck is happening to my car!?!? It scared the living daylight out of me!!!
 
um u have a dead battery or loose wire in the charging circuit.......the added amp draw of the headlights caused the car to quit charging and used all the juice the alternator was producing to run the lights for those 2-3 seconds.....


** have ur battery and charging system checked(parts stores do it free)

** clean all the cables and connections to the battery/starter ect...
