Alright check it!!
About 3 weeks ago, I bought a family plan from verizon wireless. I didn't want to buy the phones that day, but the salesman insisted I have them and wrote it up as a "due sale." I have never heard of this before, and was flabbergasted that I was able to walk out of the store with two brand new smartphones w.o paying a dime! The original plan of payment was for me to return 3 days later with the money for the phones, which is 350 bucks. A bunch of things came up, and I wasn't able to make it. I was expecting a call, but never got one. So, I avoided going back into the store as much as possible. He finally called me three weeks later ASKING if I paid for the phones...I was puzzled why he asked me, but like a dumbass I am I said no. But after I hung up, I got to thinking...Did this guy pull some fraudulent b/s to get me to buy the phone? I walked out with a receipt the day I got the phones, but there is a spot where it says Sale: "Due." Now, what does that mean? Can I just not pay them? Can they get collections involved? And is this a normal thing? I have never heard of a due sale, and I would totally love to end up with these phones being free lol!
