Ducati wiring question?

is it true that a Ducati has really poor wiring? Im thinking of picking up a Ducati 748 monoposto w/a salvage title and fix it up.

It's yellow w/bronze frame and rims. I'm going to paint the bodywork flat black.

get a new clutch cover- BTW open clutch cover? Can't ride in rain?
 
wiring has been an issue for ducati, but they are MUCH better than they used to be...and WAY better than harley's crappy wiring...

as for open dry clutch, rain will evaporate very fast, lots of heat in a clutch like that...
 
I don't believe it to be poor wiring, more like nightmare wiring. Every wire is the same color, white if I remember right. I don't know if they still do this with the newer models. Grab yourself a wiring diagram and a test light and have fun.

open clutch cover on a dry clutch is a must.
