Ducati Vyper!!

If the vyper is anything like the vmax it is going to be a seriously fun bike.I had a chance to test drive a 2009 R1 and a vmax back to back and the vmax will leave just about anything from a stop to past 100mph.I only got it up to 100 but it was still pulling like a frieght train.I`ve ridden all kinds of sport bikes but the vmax beats them all in raw straight line power.I had a problem with it hooking up.I was doing over 70 mph in 3rd gear and hammered on it and it smoked the back tire, but a good set of pirelli super corsa`s or some metzler racetech tires would solve that problem. That bitch is crazy fun Ive been trying to get rid of my honda fury to buy one but I might have to wait to see what the vyper is gonna be like.

new Vmax is a truck that thing is waaaaaaay to heavy, plus 20g for a jap bike, if you want fast try the Bking, little less hp, a lot less torque but still quicker, cheaper, and you can actually corner on it

Ive never rode a b-king but from what i understand its based on the hyabusa and Ive rode a few of them and they didnt accelerate like the vmax does to 100.My 1098 would walk away from a busy up until 130ish.If you havent rode a new vmax you just wont understand there is nothing like it.

Oh dear - this forum is a very broad church isn't it! I think of V-Maxes and V-Rods as down the far opposite end of the motorcycling spectrum from any Ducati I've ever admired or owned.
Had a customer with a V-Max at a Ducati shop I worked at - he couldn't stop spending money on that thing (well, he was French..). What a heavy lump that thing was! Horsepower yes, enjoyable no.
