Ducati MotoGP Riders.?

This may have been asked before, I know it's early in the season but the same pattern is already starting to show, having just watched the 1st practice session from Motegi Moaner is again 2-3 secs faster than any other Ducati rider, these are guys are arguably the best riders in the world so why is it no other rider can ride the the Ducati as well as Moaner, is his ability on the bike actually hampering it's development, you only have to use Yamaha as a case in point to see a bike no one wanted to possibly the best balanced package on the grid due to 2 mens development skills, with Honda perhaps going backwards since these same 2 gentlemen left some years ago.

your thought's please.
I've obviously not made my question very clear, the point I was trying to make was that at the beginning of the 990's the bike to be on was a Honda anyone who rode it was in with a chance of winning, how many races has the Honda won since 2005 it is no longer the best the bike out there, the Yamaha was a oh so very nearly bike and in 2005 only one man could win on it, now in the hands of 4 different riders it is a very capable machine and possibly the best bike on the grid, the 990 Ducati's results in the early days with Capirossi & Bayliss were pretty even, the bike could be rode to it's limit's by more than one person and the Suzuki has slowly evolved with whoever rides getting similar results, the mix of Moaner & the Ducati is something special but with only Moaner being able to ride the bike just how good is it and does his abilty to ride it mask a fundamental problem with it.
