Ducati Monster 400 cc (2001 - 2005)?

Hi, does anyone know what the difference between a Ducati Monster 2001 and a Ducati Monster 2005 is? (400cc) . Which one is best? If I bought an older one (i.e 2001) am I likely to have more problems with it then if I bought a newer (2005) model?

The differences in the two bikes is minimal.As for which one is better it all depends on the previous owner. Their riding habits and the maintenance of the machine.I.ve seen 30yr old machines in perfect condition and 2yr old machines that were total toilets.Before you buy take the ike to a shop and have it checked out by a professional mechanic the little you spend on an inspection could save you thousands later.
