I've been playing with the DDA for a little while and it looks like it's hardware with a lot of promise made almost useless by very limited and useless Viewing software.
Initially the hardware is very badly support, I have an older unit with older firmware and it won't run at all on Vista, XP64 or Win 7 RC.. I cannot even upgrade the unit without an XP32 OS..
The the filetype is a proprietary format this limiting the data to be viewed in anything but the Limited DDA software.. Adding to this the software has no export function for CSV.
I love it the way Prosa utilise a Publically created GNU App to get the data off the Device and then lock it all down to protect their precious code.
I think Prosa/ducati screwed us all over with this gadget. It's a data capture device with very limited way to view the data.
I think future time maybe spent creating a vista/win7 libusb app with dda>csv export.
