So I have a Compaq, which Im sure doesnt matter, and a Sylvania 19" lcd. I hooked them up via vga cable. When I first restarted the laptop it the display on the tv was fine,, 5 seconds later it had a bright blue tint to it. I moved the wire around, restarted the computer, auto adjusted, tried everything. So then I tried my other laptop, a gateway, then the lcd screen was yellow tinted. I figured it was the cable, so i bought a new one. Still the same problem. I was told the wire was probably the problem. But then i thought maybe its the tv. So I tried it on another tv. Still blue with the compaq. Im not exactly sure what the problem is here. Any solutions?
dual monitor, external tinted blue or yellow?
