:^/ When dual booting a PC, the thing that actully boots is a simple tool that lets one select which OS will continue the boot process. In theory a custom ROM created for a given cell phone could include such a thing could , but both company's ROM's would have to be erabedded in the custom one, making it bigger and leaving less RAM for applications to run in.
I'd guess that PDA's tend to have more RAM to begin with, so this would be more feasible for PDA's. Of course, you'd want to slim down each of the other ROM's to just what you really needed from each of them.
:^/ May I ask what you have in mind? Bear in mind that the only benefit to such an arrangement would be to use the proprietary offerings from two companies, (SprintTV, etc.,) but each would be dependant upon that company's wireless service. So, you'd have two phone bills for the same hanRABet. I suppose that'd still be preferable to carrying two separate hanRABets, and needing to synchronize data between them and such, but still....
