I'm starting school for photography and I am supposed to have a "Pro Series Digital SLR Camera - Must have an interchangeable lens system, 6 megapixel minimum, RAW file setting." What is a reliable camera to purchase while staying within a mid-ranged sized budget. I plan on buying a used camera if I can, hopefully used under $800? Any recommendations?
A family member did say they would give me a Canon Rebel Xti with 4 lenses: a sigma 75-300mm, a
sigma dc 18-50mm, a canon 28-80mm, then another sigma 18-50mm F3.5-5.6. is an Xti a good camera?
