Ds-1 Pedal AC Adapter Problem. Help Please!!?

When I connect the AC adapter to my pedal and the guitar cable, starts to make a noise and the red light of the cable starts to flash. The pedal light doesn't turn on and It doesn't do anything. Can Somebody help me.
