I have a dryer it runs on 220v and I used a step down converter, but the heating element didn't get very hot.... I already configured my full size washer to work like a portable, so I think I can do the same with a dryer. If I replace the heating element to one that uses 110v i believe it would work. The wiring is used to 220v so lower voltage shouldn't be a problem and the power source would be your common house hold outlet(110v-120v). As for the vent I already figured that out. So would
replacing the heating element from a 220v to a 110v element go over well, or I be facing more
improvising?
