Okay, how do I get rid of this flaky skin? It's on my face where the old pimple was. Like a circle of dry flaky skin where the pimple was. I have done everything to get rid of it, i.e- Clinique exfoliator, peel off masks, and good Esee Lauder moisturizers. When I try putting on my concealer it just looks flaky and dry in the old pimple area. I hate this. What else can I do? I want to use my concealer.

Another thing is, i'm pregnant. And I heard skin can get really dry while being pregnant. I don't know.. what to do?

I don't have an answer for you but they same thing happens to me... When a pimple FINALLY goes away, I'm left with a flaky, dry, purplish spot - that isn't very attractive.... I'm yet to find a solution, but at least you know you aren't the only one!

Hi, my skin gets very very dry and flaky after a pimple, especially if I have put medication on it (like clearasil, clean & clear, etc). I found a solution for myself!! hopefully it could work for you. I stopped using the drug-store acne creams and I went and bought Jamieson Vitamin E oil (just from stores like SuperStore or WalMart). I put it a layer of it all over my face like a mask and left it over night (make sure you sleep on a towel!) I did this for a few nights and my skin was no longer flaky. I also put on Aveeno Intense Overnight lotion on right when I get up in the morning before makeup (or not) and wear it all day. It helped a lot as well. I haven't seen any dry flakes for a few weeks now :)
