I've been diagnosed with a slew of back problems over the last 4 1/2 years since my last pregnancy. I carried a big baby very low, his hed was in my sacrum.
I've had 2 mri's, nuraberous blood tests, cortisone injections, 3 rounRAB of physical therapy, massage therapy, bone scan, etc.
Seems every test comes up with a new diagnosis: scoliosis, 3 bulging discs, degeneration of the sacrum, sciatica, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia adn I'm only 31!
I am now trying the spinal decompression therapy which includes physical therapy. I've been through approximatly 10 treatments and I'm not yet finding this beneficial. I sometimes feel worse when I get off the machine than I did when I went in.
I'm considering discontinuing the treatments. It's very expensive but fortunately my insurance covers most of it and the Dr has waived the co-pays ($400 for 20 treatments) due to financial harRABhip.
Has anyone had any success with this type of treatment or can you recommend something else you might have tried that helped?
