Dr's only (please provide credentials) is there a reason I'm having so many mood swings?

I'm having a lot of trouble with being moody. Most of the time it ties in with my period, sometimes not. I simply can't go to a dr. I'm broke, and have no insurance. Here's some of the stuff I go through:

feelings of sadness
feelings of happiness (which may only happen 10 minutes later)
easily angered or agitated - irritable
a great deal of trouble with focus
no motivation
sluggish
trouble sleeping
headaches (not bad enough to take anything for, but annoying)
occasional dark thoughts (I'll not ellaborate on that one)

hey, maybe I'm just a normal woman. But it would give me some peace of mind to know.

For anyone who answers, thank you.

You can relieve a lot of these symptoms yourself. You need to start and exercise program - walking is easiest - start slowly and for short distances and gradually increase your time and distance until you are walking at a brisk pace for 30-45 minutes per day. When your muscles are warm, they and your brain secrete the "feel good" chemical called serotonin which is the same as in medications for depression. This serotonin boost then helps lift your depression/moods. This is what you can do since you can't afford to see a doctor. There are also free clinics in most major cities where you can also go for medical care but if you truly want this to get better, an exercise program can do it.
