I have had my Pearl 8130 for 2.5 years now, but there is one bug that has been around since Day 1. About 3x per week, my phone's data connection disappears. When this happens, my WeatherEye doesn't update, I can't browse internet, I can't get into the Blackberry App Store - nothing. About 1 in 5 times this happens, I also don't receive any phone calls - they go straight to voicemail. I can, however, send calls. The only way to fix the problem is to do a battery pull.
TELUS is my cellular provider, and they say the issue is not on their end. I will note, however, that the connectivity where I live is weird. I'll go from full signal to no signal and back to full signal without moving. Sometimes this seems to cause it, but I've also noticed it when my battery drops so low that the radio turns off - when I charge it and turn the radio back on, the phone seemingly doesn't reconnect properly. Other times it just happens for no reason.
