Dropped my Z500a - Screen Messed Up

I dropped my Z500a cell phone on the street a few days ago, it must have landed just right so that it messed my screen up. The screen has a big black out area running horizontally across the inside LCD screen and also vertically on the right side of the same screen.(which makes it difficult to see anything on the screen). The phone does work, with the exception of the damaged screen(there is no crack in the screen, just the black areas).
Can this be fixed? Anyone know how much? Or is it just easier and cheaper to buy another phone?
Any help would be much appreciated?
