Droid (Sholes) vs Nokia N900

Two superpowers. Which one has the upper hand?

Myself, I'm leaning towards the Droid. Specifically, an unlocked GSM variant.

I would probably go with the Droid too---if ---and if they got an unlocked GSM variant, providing they make some announcement of it. Vodafone usually has Verizon's phones in GSM.

If not, the N900 would be the choice.

Well it looks like there is going to be a North American 3G GSM version of the Sholes/Droid

Don't know whether or not it will be an unlocked model though. I'm sure someone would be able to figure out how to do that at some point however.

Beware: this website is reporting rumor as fact. There will be a GSM version for Europe/Latin America, but all signs point to the droid being a Verizon exclusive in the US.

The fact that Droid comes with a killer app---free Google Navigation, seals it. Not good news for TomTom and Garmin.

Nokia N900 for me since the GSM Droid probably won't have the 3G bands for TMUS.
