Droid on a Verizon Family plan?

On letstalk.com they have discounted the Droid to 20.00 but when I put it on a family plan, it costs 249.99, I need 2 droids (for me and my bro) and don't want to pay $500. Is there any way that I can start a family plan in a verizon store, then go to the wesite and add 2 droids for $40? Also, do I get a discount for getting 2 data plans because I read somewhere that it's $40 for 2 data plans? Thanks in advance!
