I am planning on buying a Motorola Droid to flash to Cricket. I was wondering whether I need a particular Android version for it to be vulnerable. Some of the units I'm looking at on craigslist are on 2.2. I haven't read anything to make me believe a particular version was needed, but I wanted to be sure. Also, I saw this post by Joe Texaco. From what I can gather that file recovers the phone in an unlocked state and apparently lets you avoid CDMA workshop all together. Would I still need to load a prl? Could someone describe the process of flashing using this file? Would I just load it with RSDLite and immediately be able to activate with cricket? Can't find a "full solution" guide for this file like I did for the traditional method. Thanks ahead of time!
