Driving!

I'm learning to drive at the moment. I failed my first test unfortunately, due to these fucking idiots not letting me into the lane therefore leaving me in the middle of a junction and blocking it up.

Anywho, I have got my second test booked in for the 13th December, which is two days after my 18th ffs! And, to make things even worse, my driving instructor just got a new car and it is taking ages for me to get used to the damn clutch. ALSO! The indicator stick is on the right hand side of the steering wheel, and because i'm used to clicking it on from the left I keep knocking the fucking wipers on.

Whoah, just had to let that, I like this forum.

Woo, good English. Fantastic.

Anyway, I know what you mean. I drive an '85 Cavalier with horrible acceleration and I gas it hard to get going and whenever I drive a newer car, out of habit, I smash on the gas...and it's not good. Going to have to drop that damn habit.

I had to take my test 2 times. The first one I was fucked out of passing because some blazer came out of nowhere and was speeding towards me. The guy in the passenger seat told me to stop (in the middle of a turn) and I didn't listen to him, I just kept going. because if I would have stopped, I would have gotten hit. I avoided an accident, you'd think I'd be able to get my lisence on account of good judgment? No.
Dickwads.
I ended up screwing up big time on the second test, but I was passed anyway. I love having tits.

God damn it, the turn signal indicator stalk position varies? What country do you live in? That kind of shit is standard in America.

In the process of buying my first car at the moment. Five speed auto with tiptronic .

There would be no point in doing that because if I take my test in a manual car, I am allowed to drive a manual or automatic, but if I were to take my test in an automatic, I would restricted to an automatic only.

I live in the UK, but the car I am learning to drive in is made in Japan, so the indicator stick is on the opposite side.

Are you being sarcastic or genuine? I can't tell.

I failed my first road test, only because I was doing 32 in a 25 and they said they had no choice.. Everything else was golden.. Went back a week later and stuck the 25 on the same route and passed..

Nice one. They are extremely picky when it comes to the speed limit. Even if you are only 2mph over the limit, they have no choice but to fail you, kind of sucks.
