driving without mot from spain to uk for a pre booked test is it legal?

i can pre book appointment in uk
but its a 3 day journey by road or boat
this is an issue that needs answering asap any traffic cops out there
 
If you are taking the shortest possible route from where the car is registered to (the address on the V5C) then it will be legal. Otherwise no way and I suspect you are not planning to do that.
My answer is for the UK only and I believe but please check that in Spain and france they do not check MOT on UK cars
Be advised that if your car has no MOT it will have third party minimum insurance cover for the policyholder only and your right to use it in the EU may be suspended so please check that last point with your insurers.
If you no longer live in the UK and the vehicle is staying in Spain then it has to be permanently exported to stay legal there and here.
 
Err.. so you start at least 4 days before your present MOT runs out . In Spain as in any country no MOT, very illegal, you realise your insurance is invalid too. Don`t leave things to the last minute. If you do get caught driving illegally in Spain, apart from a big fine , you won`t see your car again.
