Driving test in my own car?

I have my driving test in a couple of weeks and will have to take it in my own car as my instructor has double booked. I'm pretty happy to do this as I'm far more used to it than my instructor's car and have someone who can supervise me driving there and back.
However, it is quite an old Honda Civic and I don't want to find out at the test centre that the examiner isn't happy to use it for the test. It passed it's MOT about 5 months ago and runs fine as far as I can tell, and it's fully insured with good tyres and seatbelts and head restraints and an extra mirror and so on. But because it's old it isn't exactly quick to accelerate and can tend to make a bit of noise about going up hills, although it will go beyond 62mph as specified on the DSA website.
Just wondering if anyone had any experience taking their own car in their driving test or knew about how examiners chose which cars they will be happy to go out in. Thanks in advance!
