Driving from Ajax to Toronto?

I just moved into a townhouse in Ajax, but I work in downtown Toronto.

My question is, how long will it take to get back and forth at 8am and 5pm? I've heard some say that it will take a looooong time due to traffic, and others saying it's not so bad from Ajax.

Any personal experience?
