i've moved out of my mother's house and i'm trying to get my other car to my house. its a 97 saturn sl1 and i think the head gasket is going if not already blown. black stuff in the overflow tank, white smoke out the tailpipe, etc. replaced the water pump and the thermostat but still no luck. anyway i need to get it to my house so i can start working on it. according to google maps its only 4.4 miles from her house to my house. i was thinking about buying bars head gasket stop leak and gunning it to my house but will it damage it more or is that a safe distance to drive it?
i've searched around and all of the places i went to the tow bars are all rented out. there is oil in the coolant but no water in the oil yet.
