drivers window on honda crv wont operate?

could we take the mechanism from the back passenger window box thingy and trade it with the drivers side? I cant afford the stinking service call of 75.00 just so they can tell me what i already know, and then they would charge me outrageous fees to fix it... the car is a 2000 honda crv ex
 
maybe the motor is broke go to a gas station with a mechanin i think that might be since it happened to my car all of a sudden it wouldnt roll down
