Hello, well I got a call back from the doctors office and they said my TSH Levels came back high. So I have hypothyroidism. They started me on this medicene Synthroid and I have been taking it for about two weeks now. I am wondering if you are able to drink alcohol while on this medication? On the bottle itself doesn't say anything about not being able to drink alcohol. And on the paper that comes with the meds doesn't say anything as well. I am just wondering if you can drink while on that medicene. I don't drink a lot but I do enjoy an occasional few drinks. (Beer) I am only 26 years old... So and if I do drink, what would it do to me? Hurt me at all? Please just let me know. Thanks so much.
