I really liked the movie but i have a couple of questions.

What is SSDD?

At the end we find out that Duddis is not human. So, is he a retarded alien? Or is that just the form he chose to take?
 
I saw this film a few weeks ago and thought it was OK up until the time when those 'shit-weasel' type things showed up then it went south fast.

I can understand why there isn't a director's commentary on the disc (mine is a region 3 dvd) because I wouldn't want to sit through it again and try and make some kind of sense of it. :yawn:

What a shame... such a good cast wasted on such a pointless film. Stephen King's films just aren't as good as they used to be.

I saw this movie a while ago, and I agree that it started out well, but headed downhill FAST!

I was especially appaled when it got to the end. The chase to the water works in the book was much longer than what ended up in the film, and that ending, ARGH, Duddits isn't supposed to be an alien!

Read the book, it's cheaper and better!
