Well, I personally think the first few seasons of the original Real Ghostbusters was top notch in every way, at least until S3/The Slimer segments starting.
But, let's see...
Well, first of all, we need to get J. Michecal Stracynkski (sp?) back in as head writer. The show went WAY downhill after he left thanks to ABC watering down the show, so I'd love to see him come back. Let's keep mostly to standalone stories, but also have an over arching arc through out the season.
Character design? The RGB designs were perfect, IMO, so I wouldn't tamper with those one bit. They stood out from the live action counterparts, but still retained their personalities/voice patterns of the LA actors.
As for animation, that's a tough call. Sure, DIC's animation wasn't the greatest in history, but considering what their stuff looks like NOW, I'd say we hand the reigns off to WB animation, or more precisely, the production team behind JLU.
