...stuck. I can turn it part way....? -I can turn it part way from say if its at 3 o'clock to almost 12 o'clock.
-I don't want to force it and it says not to use pliers in instructions. I want to flush the cooling system without paying a shop to do it.
But I also don't want to break it. It moves really easy from 3 o'clock to about 1 o'clock but It doesnt wanna seem to go beyond that.
WHAT CAN I DO TO OPEN THE VALVE?
****** F.Y.I. FOR ANYONE NEEDING TO KNOW THE LOCATION OF A 99 INTREPID RADIATOR DRAIN PLUG LOCATION:
Pop the hood , from ur perspective standing infront of the car .....reach down on the passenger side of the car (side near the air filter box) and the drain plug/petcock valve is at the very bottom (prob need a flash light to see it) and it drains out of a hole under the shrouding underneath the car, the valve does not come out.
