I remember reading years ago they planned to make a live action DragonBall Z movie, but thought it just got cancelled.

But now Ive read its coming out next year!!

I was a huge fan back when I was younger... not so much now, but am very very excited to see this! Could be absolutely rubbish... probably will get panned, but it will be exciting to see how they do it!

Plus James Masters is playing Piccolo... that offers me some hope for it!!!


[edit] Just seen some photos taken from one of the sets...... looks absolutely ridiculous!!!!! But role on laughing at a very pooooorr movie! Ill still love watching the cartoons!
 
I predict this movie will be full to overflowing with gushings of Epic Fail.

For my predictions are rarely proven wrong. But then stranger things have happened...

Like this Film NOT being a pile of festering dogshit!
 
For people who have been following this, like myself, at the start, your thoughts were the exact same as my thoughts, but the more news that trickled out, the better it sounded.

Except for one key thing.

No Krillin.

Thats right, how on earth could Goky transform without his best friend dying, unless they kill his son, that would just be silly.

However apart from that lame (hollywood) oversight, this doesn't look too bad now.

Its DragonBall not DragonBallZ. DragonBall follows the early life of Goku, before he meets Krillin and has Gohan.

Bizarly im completely the opposite... I was really excited about a Dragonball movie... but the whole thing looks like a complete joke to be honest.... hopefully it will have good cgi which will make it look less stupid.
 
I used to LOVE Dragonball Z when I was like 12... I still watch it sometimes. I'm not too sure about this movie but I'll probably go see it anyway as I'll always love DB/DBZ :D
