Dragged a Knee today - - First Time!

Congrats! You will always remember your first time. Move your pucks up slightly so you can get a better angle with more puck down.

Hey man, it's cool. Not everyone can be hung. I personally used to ask women all the time if they wanted to "shake hands with the mayor of MikeTown. He's small, but friendly." I'm just fortunate to have a tongue like Gene Simmons and can breathe through my ears. But I digress. This thread is about a young man from York, PA, who lost his "pollo strips" and dragged a knee. If I were anywhere near York, I'd buy that cat a beer and say job well done!

Like you think I wouldn't see that you changed my post, OZ. I'd slap you and call you Susan, but I believe your woman already does that.

Damn...you guys have been busy last night. I was taking the turn in both directions and I actually did get both pucks scraped up, but I definately felt a little more uncomfortable going right. I'm anxious to get to that track day so the instructors can help me with body position etc. Right now, i'm trying to self-teach out of a book. (Total Control, by Lee Parks) You know how that goes...

So anyway...Even though it was just a parking lot, it still broke my cherry and gave me some confidence to push on.
Cheers

I took Lee Parks Total Control class and loved it! The class is amazingly informative and the section on suspension set up is worth the price alone! He had first timers dragging knee by the end of the day...not because of excessive speeds but because of good body positioning and turning techniques!

...and yes an empty parking lot is a great place to practice (just watch out for slippery white lines!) not just dragging knees but also emergency maneuvering, braking, throttle control, wheelies...whatever!
