[Dr Forni says, "Attention entails a transcending of the Self." (page 38). Look up the word transcending. How can you transcend yourself by paying attention to others? Why is this something we need to do in order to be more civilized at home, work, school, play? Please write a thesis and support it with examples and reasons.] That's my assignment for my Composition I class, but i have absolutely no idea what exactly any of this means. I have Asperger's Syndrome, which could possibly be what's blocking me from understanding, but i'd like to be able to write a really good thesis. I was wondering if someone could send me info on what this means, proof that it's true (or how to find that proof), and give me a definition for what this means. And if someone could give me a link to a thesis example so that I have a format to work from, that would be awesome.
