I also just got mine 2 weeks ago. I took a nice 370 mile ride and did not feel uncomfortable anywhere in that area. Its really light. No more sliding into the tank when braking hard or sudden stops.
Quick tip for those that have this seat (with teh 2 holes for getting to the screws. Use some sort of round smooth sleeve to slide over the allen key so the neoprene along the hole area does not get damaged.
I had a small tear there and now just taped the allen key and just left the bottom tip exposed so it can do its job.
Why would you want to do this? They are there to be able to access the screws to remove the seat. Folding up the ears to get to the screws like with the stock seat does not work too well with the neoprene seat since the material is bonded to the seat pan and will separate if you bend it back.
