Doxycycline ?

I was wondering how long it takes for Doxycycline to start working and if it was okay to still use salylic acid soap while on it? I am on HRT because my test levels are so low, so my acne is from the monthly Testosterone injections.
My dermatologist gave me these 100mg Doryx for free to try for 2 months and see what it does. I was going to go with Accutane,but my insurance will not pay for it and its $500 a month. They said its more of a cosmetic drug, so they don't pay.
My acne is mostly small red bumps and some with whiteheaRAB. I've got some Epidermx and Camellia oil on the way also.

It takes about 6-8 weeks to see a difference and it might get worse before better. Accutane has some really bad possible side efects so try everything else before that.
