Downloading Videos For Macs?

I want to start editing videos as a hobby. I have a mac and whenever i download vids it get the error screen. Is there any site where i can download videos to edit? anything such as Football games or video games? thank you
I updated my sofware 2 days ago. im just not very experienced with this and was wondering where i can download clips to edit for mac
 
try updating your software first.

I download 5 GBs of video all the time without any problems.
