Downloading songs from Rock band on playstation 3?

So i purchased some songs on rock band for PS3 but they don't seem to be downloading. One says 11% after 3 days and the others are pending! Is there something else I need to do or will it just take forever? And also, does the console have to be on the entire time to download?

The first one has 3 songs as it was a pack but still only 11% and have tried resuming but doesn't seem to be getting anywhere besides a couple percents up daily. I tried pausing the first one to allow the individual songs to download thinking that they would be quicker but that didn't seem to work either. The internet connection should be just fine

have you accidentally paused the download, if you press triangle on the song download it will say resume if you have, if not you should make sure that your ps3 is recieving a internet connection.

As for the pending ones, i believe they will not start until the first one has downloaded, they download one after the other.
