downloading pics from phone

i tried searching but didnt come up withanything,

i have a 1870 and i wanted to know, with the data cable, is it possible to download the pics from the phone onto ur pc? i know u can do vice versa but that doesnt help me. thanks

You want the iDEN Media Downloader. It's a VERY easy and simple piece of software made by Motorola for our camera phones. It's very simple to get the pictures and video you've taken off of your phone w/ the data cable via this program onto your computer.

All of the details are on that page along with the download. I've used the program many times and it's very easy for taking pictures off the phone but I could never get video to play on my PC after copying it off the phone.

The GOOD thing about the software is that it doesn't erase pics or video off the phone, it just copies to your computer.

It works on the I860, I870, I580, I930, and the I275. Basically all of the camera phones the nextel offers.
