downloading apps to 9500

I have tried loading some apps to my phone but can't get them to work. App downloads ok but when trying to install get message The item you selected cannot be displayed. Do you wish to save? No, then another message Unsupported media type:application/x-bb-appworld Any Ideas? I am on Orange.
